The latest LocatED early career networking event drew approximately 70 attendees to Arcadis’ London office at 80 Fenchurch Street earlier this week. With Arcadis’ support, the event brought together a dynamic mix of seasoned industry veterans, young professionals, as well as sixth form and university students, all keen to explore and discuss opportunities in property and real estate.

During the interactive session, Liz Mendelsohn from Arcadis shared candid insights about her non-linear career journey in the property sector, demonstrating the diverse pathways available to aspiring professionals.

The event helped build meaningful connections between established professionals and those at the beginning of their careers, continuing LocatED’s commitment to improving pathways into property and encouraging greater industry diversity.

At the event, many students mingled with industry professionals. They demonstrated a genuine interest in learning from experienced practitioners, asking thoughtful questions about career paths, industry trends, and professional development opportunities. The room buzzed with energy as students worked their way around, making the most of their time with each professional to gather insights and advice.
