The LocatED team recently attended the Government Property Awards in the heart of Westminster. The ceremony was a fantastic chance for our team to reflect on all the hard work and success that our colleagues have achieved, whilst highlighting the vital role property professionals play in supporting government objectives and creating positive outcomes.

Our Net Zero Accelerator programme took home the Sustainability award, demonstrating exceptional commitment to sustainability initiatives within education estates. Will Attlee, Paul Broadbent and Nadia Persaud were there to receive the award but it was the collective excellence of everyone involved in the NZA  that won this award. A special mention to Sarah Francis, Ruth Cunningham, Jeremy Aston, Dan Armitage and Will Mumford, who have all contributed to the success of the programme, and continue to be a credit to LocatED.

In the individual categories, two members of the LocatED team were honoured for their outstanding contributions. Tom Muldowney was recognised with the Apprenticeship Contribution award, celebrating his journey as a mature apprentice who has demonstrated the values that define LocatED’s approach to professional development. Tom’s recognition reflects his passionate commitment and driven approach, qualities that exemplify the professionals within the LocatED team.

The Rising Star award was presented to Alex Aiacoboaie, whose achievements during his sandwich year placement with LocatED have been truly impressive. Currently studying Quantity Surveying at Bristol University, Alex has made significant contributions to the organisation whilst gaining valuable industry experience. His success demonstrates LocatED’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and providing meaningful opportunities for the next generation of property professionals.

The triple success at the Government Property Awards is a genuine recognition of the entirety of LocatED, and we are thrilled to celebrate our accomplishments with these three awards.
